why wont my vizio tv connect to wifi



Waggle tries to connect your Vizio TV to our wifi network. This is the first step in using the app. We have verified that the WiFi is turned on and it should be connected automatically. If you are still unable to connect then, please try these steps: 1) Using a different device other than your wireless device, check if you have an internet connection coming from our WiFi network (you should see a verified icon next to your username). 2) If you are able to connect to our network with the other device, please try to reset your wireless device (e.g. unplugged it from the electrical outlet for approximately 1 minute then plug back in). 3) If steps 1 and 2 do not work, please try resetting your Vizio TV by unplugging the power cord located in back of the TV for 10 seconds. Plug back in and try connecting to our network again. 4) If you have tried all of the steps above with no luck, please set your Vizio TV to On instead of blacked out, hold down the 'Down' key and press 'Menu' at the same time until you see a menu appear on your Vizio TV. Then select 'System' > 'Reset to Factory Settings'. 5) Once in the system settings, select 'Yes or No' under the Virtual Remote Device Request option, then select 'Reset'.
